When I started my real estate career it was under the illusion that I would have all sorts of time to do whatever I want....then reality came and I have found you could easily work 18 a day 7 days a week year round and never really be completely caught up. With the economy being where it is and no one sure where their next sale was coming from or when it will be, I was curious how many agents will be working this weekend with it being the July 4th Holiday? I will be doing an open house or two and staying available to show houses but normally there is not much company come the weekend and especially a Holiday weekend.
So my question is How many fellow Rainer's will be working this weekend? I don't mind those who choose not to work but it would be nice if at least their listings were working. Go ahead and enjoy the day but make the listing available to us who do work. So if you are planning on being gone don't forget us poor agents in the trenches and either leave someone to watch your listings or carry a cell phone so we can still do what we do. Have a fantastic holiday and best of luck in all you do.
As always if you think the Big Rapids area is a place you would like to live give us a call (231) 796-5253 or check out either link below and we will help you find a house so the Big Rapids area can be your home too. Thanks for reading.

Working this weekend...even when I am on "vacation" I am working. Always have been, probably always will. It's a responsiblility and I cannot ignore when even just a phone call will suffice.
I'll be answering my phone this weekend, but not holding an open house. My last listing is now pending. We are in a seller's market in my area.
I will work this holiday weekend just like I have worked it for the last 10 years. Good luck to all of you working this weekend.
Showing Friday and Saturday. Transferees come on their free time. Maybe I'll buy us sparklers.
Since I knew I was working, I wasn't thinking of this as a "holiday" weekend and so didn't think that some houses might be hard to show. THANK YOU for post.....I may start setting up showings now so I can get them everywhere they want to go.
Not working on Saturday and if I had any waterfront listings...I would probably do an open house...It seems like a lot of places are closed on Monday-I don't anticipate any doors being broken down...but if they are on sunday or monday then I will be there...AND I ALWAYS answer my phone...Jen
I will doing parades to promote business. Will be available to show property. I have found that Open Houses do not work well with my market.
Randy: I'll be answering the phone and showing if need be but gace up July 4yh weekend opens years back, just wasn't enough traffic.
