Guilty as charged!
As I sit here pondering how long the economy will raise havoc on my business I have more time to read posts on ActiveRain and I have been noticing a disturbing trend. There are a lot of great posts out there with tips for being a better agent or to help ones business and I am guilty as charged for some of the no-no's. Nothing to panic about but little things like getting busy and not following up on my emails quick enough or keeping my contact list fresh. These slow times should be just what my business needs to catch up, evaluate and grow stronger but like most I tend to procrastinate. I think if there is one area most agents I know are on the weak side it would be client management. Some have it mastered but most, like me, could use a tune up.
I think with Spring in the air and the tax incentive clock ticking close to a close I won't have much time to work on my skills so if anyone out there has a tried and true client management system they wouldn't mind sharing let me know and I may just give it a try. something has to be better than all the scraps of paper with names and phone numbers wrote on them that clutter my desk or my email where after an hour the fresh leads are not longer on page one and likely will be not as fresh when I find them again. The "hot" leads always get taken care of but the "mediums" and the "not so hots" could be turned hot with a little attention. Until I work it out I will continue reading posts in hopes someone has shared the secret of great client management.

Hi Randy ~ It sounds like we're using the same system. I do use Online Agent (I think it's called Office Online now or something like that) but it's a matter of *using* it.
