Should blogs be required reading for newbie's?
I have became quite addicted to reading ActiveRain blogs. Just when I think I know my real estate pretty well someone blogs about something I had no idea about. lol. I really think if I had started reading blogs back when I started it would have bettered my experience learning the ropes. When I was first brought on board I was immediately thrown into the mix and while my fellow agents were supportive they were also my competition so giving me tips was not on the priority list for most.
I truly want to thank ActiveRain for making this avenue possible. As Realtors® we have very places where we can learn from other peoples experiences and help ourselves through nothing more than reading posts by fellow agents. So every morning while I wait for daybreak I enjoy and learn from your posts. Maybe we should make ActiveRain required reading for our new agents and they will get a feel for what is expected and from some posts what will not be tolerated. So keep on posting and I will keep on reading and learning and again thanks for sharing.

Looking at Blogs helps me learn new ideas of whats going on. As with what William stated, you have to be careful to what your reading and its accuracy.
