Normally when I start writing a post it takes off and I get long winded but today I will be brief. Seems like everywhere I read, people are angry with BP for the oil spill and Boycotting the local stations and they should be. WHOA!!!!! Do you really think a multi billion dollar company that can afford to lose that much crude oil is going to be shut down by losing a few gas stations? I know who will be affected...thousands of small business owners who have done nothing wrong other than choose the wrong affiliation to brand their store. These are the same people who pay the taxes that help keep our cities and counties working and our schools running. With as many budget cuts that are crippling this country I am not sure how shutting down gas stations that have served us for years will help.
BE MAD!!!! but not at the mom and pop gas station. They have served us well in the past and hopefully will be there tomorrow to continue to serve. With all the people available to blame when something like this happens the small business owner is just not the right people to be angry with. Just my opinion.
