Alright, we have all had a strange listing here and there. Some even stick in our memories but this one was over the top for me. I list a lot Amish homes so when I was called to list a log home up near Marion it cam as no surprise. When I got there we chatted about the house and barn and unique property. It has a couple of ponds and the deer have taken up residence in the back hay field. We walked out into the main pasture to check out his 6 legged steer. Nope...I wasn't drinking. Once we made our way back to the rear of the pasture I heard something coming up behind and it sounded huge. Not to appear to scared I casually looked over my shoulder to find a herd of camels coming to check us out. OK, if six legged steers aren't enough, a herd of camels has to be a first for most. Turns out the steers are four legged but have "extra" hooves on their rear legs. So they are more of a 6 hoofed steer, but still unique. Once I came to grips the camels weren't going to dine on me, we made our way back to the barn. Not sure why it surprised me when the Peacocks started shrieking, but it did. OK, now if 6 hoofed steers, a herd of camels and peacocks aren't enough when I rounded the cabin during pictures I ran across.....yup, kangaroos. I officially have seen it all. The home is gorgeous, the land is stunning and I look forward to seeing the expressions of faces as I show it. Enjoy your Memorial Day as I remember this listing and thanks for reading..
