This morning I was doing my morning ritual of coffee and Active Rain and enjoyed a beautiful pic in a Speechless Sunday post by Larry Brewer. It was a stunning picture of the golf course at the Augusta National. As I was reading I noticed outside the robins playing in my yard. I was thinking how great it was that spring was finally here.....enter Mother Nature. Less than an hour later we had two inches of snow and were under a winter weather advisory for whiteout conditions. This is what Life in a Snow Globe is like. We are not in Alaska, nope, we are in West Central Michigan. Mother Nature must have quite a sense of humor to play such pranks but she missed April fools day by two days. Here is a pic from this morning I converted to a snow globe. Pic was taken by Michelle Barker from First Bank in Lakeview. She takes a lot of great photos of our area. So next time your are walking Augusta and thinking how nice it is remember your friends that live in a Michigan Snow Globe. We get Summer too and we appreciate both days of it...
