Farmers Market in Big Rapids
It is said that April's showers bring May flowers. Another May arrival is the Downtown Big Rapids Farmers Market. What a great way to help the local farmers and enjoy fresh produce all right here in Big Rapids. From May through October, every Tuesday and Friday you have an opportunity to experience some of the areas best veggies, meats, eggs, baked goods, flowers and all sorts of side items. On Fridays there is even live music in the Pocket Park next to Chemical Bank from 12pm-2pm. If you haven't had a chance to try the Farmers Market this is a great place to start. While your there take a few minutes and stroll down Michigan Avenue and see what else our City has to offer. This year Big Rapids has a large StreetScape project so keep checking for updates. I will post them as I learn more info but for now the market is on.
