Having lived in the Big Rapids area for over 25 years I would like to think I have an insiders view of the people and the area surrounding Big Rapids. Having been involved in the real estate market, including owning Lake and Lodge Realy LLC, I would also like to think I have my finger on the pulse of the real estate community in Big Rapids and Mecosta County. Big Rapids Real Estate

I have blogged on several local businesses and just realized I haven't included any real estate offices. If I were to tell you about my favorite it would have to be....oh yes, Lake and Lodge Realty LLC. While not the largest of companies I pride myself on being very client friendly and being the only agent I can guarantee my clients receive the best service I have available. We are located in the rear of the Schuberg Insurance Agency at 107 N. Michigan Suite B right in downtown beautiful Big Rapids. Our motto is experience real estate "The Way It Should Be!" and that is the way we run our company. Having been a Realtor® for a few years when complimented on my efforts I would reply "It's the way real estate should work". I found it odd that clients were so impressed with me being happy to show homes on weekends or holidays. To me I was just treating them how I felt an agent should so thus the motto.

You will notice on all my advertising the comment "Yes...I do work weekends!!!" To me evenings and weekends is when most working people have to look for homes so it just makes sense that I be available when the are ready to handle their real estate needs. We work extremely well with both buyers and sellers but I would say Buyers are what I enjoy most. It gives me the opportunity to help someone's dreams come true. I always tell my wife that the commissions pay the bills but the real payoff is knowing I took part in a dream coming true.

My wife goes on most every showing with me and also takes all the pics for our listings. When we show houses to clients with children she helps with the kids so the parents can focus on the houses we are touring. While we do serve Big Rapids and the surrounding communities I have sold houses and properties all over Michigan and would love to help should you need it. Our websites are updated daily and have been told by most who visit are very user friendly. Quite often clients will have looked for a year before calling. As a matter of fact I get calls from other agents asking for info THEIR clients have found on my websites. I always love that.

Last note is our hours of operation. I am usually at my computer by 4am doing searches and website SEO and at 8pm I am finishing up my day. I often speak with clients after 9pm. I always say my hours are whenever I am awake. I turn my cell off around 9-10pm and back on by 4am everyday so feel free to call whenever.
