Another Reason For Buying Now
Yesterday's email shed light on yet another reason for buying now if expecting to purchase this year. Everyone knows RD loans (Rural Development) are one of the last ways for clients to get into a home for low down payments. Yesterday I received emails from three different lenders cautioning that RD is expected to run out of funds in April this year and with the budget where it is not sure when to expect more funding. I expect to have a severe bottle necking affect come mid to late April as the "last minute" buyers scramble to beat the April 30th deadline for the Home Buyers Tax Credits.
So to sum it up we now have huge discounted inventories of homes at bottomed out (or close) home prices, sellers and lenders willing to work with buyers, interest rates that are looking at rising, Tax Credit deadlines and now RD running out of money. This is probably the best time to buy we will see in our lifetimes. Let me know if I can help.
